The Tomb Is Empty
The greatest event to ever happen on this earth has the phrase “The tomb was empty” forever connected to it. It is documented in each of the gospels and is celebrated by all who believe in Christ Jesus. As much as we focus on the cross where Jesus bore the sins of us all it is the empty tomb that changed everything. It was the empty tomb that verified Jesus death was not permanent and that we too now have a pathway to rise again. It was the empty tomb that launched the church and is what we base everything on. The empty tomb changed a great man to the eternal King of Kings and Lord of Lords. It was the empty tomb that completed the prophesies.
Although many did not understand at first what the empty tomb meant everyones that came in contact with the empty tomb was forever changed.
Take time to look through each of the gospels writings on the empty tomb and list all who were effected by the empty tomb and try to imagine what it meant to each person or group of people.
